A few words
We harvest sod fresh daily
Monday thru Saturday throughout the Sod Season weather permitting – May to October. Orders may be placed with 24 hour notice.
Benefits of our Blue Grass Peat Sod:
- Peat Sod retains moisture better than mineral sod
- Peat Sod is lighter weight for easier handling
- Retains colour during transplant & establishment
- Sod Rolls are 13.5 sq.ft (typical rolls 9 or 10 sq.ft)
- Larger Sod Rolls cover more ground = less carrying
- Larger Peat Sod rolls = better water retention
- Peat is preferred for its lush thick growth & carpet feel underfoot
